The Head of the choir is in love with the conductor. More than with her husband or anyone else. She didn't choose it. It just happens to people who are capable of such feelings.
And when in summer he left, he aimed at the whole choir, but it hit her. And her forgiveness is a gift. If it wasn't for her, he wouldn't have had a choir now.
The conductor - as a man and as an adult - must (yes, MUST!) if not appreciate it, then respect and take into account. As a minimum.
Stupid, stupid, Anna. Giggled. Rolled my eyes all summer.
Forgot it could happen to others as well.
